A successful school requires parent involvement and we need YOUR help! YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF PTO TO VOLUNTEER!

CCES offers ample opportunity for you to use your talents inside and outside the school! You can see below the volunteer areas available or visit our volunteer opportunities page to start signing up!

Community Involvement & Fundraising

Cub Crawl – Need help picking up Silent Auction donations, decorating for the event, day of set-up/take-down/clean-up.

Availability: Planning August-November. Event Day: October 17th

For our Students & Families

Blessings in a Backpack - Food packing opportunity that serves Boerne ISD students to bridge the weekend food gap some families face. Will need a car that can accommodate 40 reusable bags.

Availability: Sign Up Genius will be sent to pick up shifts for Thursdays 9-11am.

Book Fair - Assist the Librarian with Fall and/or Spring Book Fair. Help will be needed with working the register, and/or set-up/take-down/clean-up.

Availability: Librarian will contact volunteers and send out sign up genius links.

Library - Assist the Librarian, with all Library needs!

Availability: Sign Up Genius will be provided to pick up shifts during school hours.

Bike Rodeo - We need help with bike drop off & pick up, as well as Bike Rodeo course volunteers, as well as bike pick up volunteers.

Availability: April before school, during school, and after school.

For our Teachers & Staff

Staff Luncheons - Assist with decorating, serving, and/or set-up/take-down/clean-up of staff luncheons.

Availability: Sign Up Genius will be provided to sign up for shifts during Staff Luncheons, which happen during teachers' lunchtime. Quarterly (only December, February, & May)

Staff Birthdays - Assist with ordering, picking up, and/or delivering monthly lunches from Bumdoodler’s.

Availability: Sign Up Genius will be provided to help with one Friday morning a month at 10:00 am.

Staff Appreciation – Assist with decorating, serving, and/or set-up/take-down/clean-up of six Staff Morale Boosters throughout the school year.

Availability: Sign Up Genius will be provided to sign up for shifts during on morale booster days, before or during school hours.

Workroom - Assist all faculty and staff with copying, laminating, and all other "workroom needs" at the school.

Availability: Weekly or Biweekly. Please specify a day that you would like to volunteer. 2 hour commitment, time decided by you, during school hours.

At-Home Crew - At-Home Crew, as needed basis, usually involves taking home laminating to cut out, put together packets, center sets, etc. 1-2 hours max. Projects can be picked up at school or delivered to your house if in Herff Ranch or nearby neighborhood.
